Weiting Putian Organic Agricultural Park (WPOAP), SIP's last farmland by the side of Yangcheng Lake, is becoming increasingly popular among people looking to spend holidays in nature and enjoy organic food.

With a farmland area of 1,118 mu (approximately 74.53 ha) and three huge indoor farming bases, WPOAP boasts integrated functions for agricultural production and recreational services. People can try their hands at farming, enjoy fresh and delicious food and have a tour in nature here. The grains, vegetables, fruits and aquatic products are all produced with sustainable techniques, such as the use of naturally-sourced fertilizers and pesticide-free insect prevention systems.

"The products cater well to the needs of the burgeoning health-conscious people. This has made them quite popular in domestic food market," said Yu Chunming, an executive in charge of the management of WPOAP.
