The University of South Australia (UniSA), a public research university in the Australian state of South Australia, inaugurated its Suzhou Research Finding Industrialization Centre in Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation Zone, SIP on Jan 29. As UniSA's first project of this kind in the country, the centre will help introduce a number of UniSA projects into SIP.

Considering that UniSA's research focus on bio-tech, unmanned vehicles, satellite technology and new materials perfectly meshes with SIP's development plan for biomedicine, nanotech?and artificial intelligent, the centre is also expected to deepen strategic cooperation between the university and SIP enterprises.

A roadshow took place on the same day, displaying three projects concerning new drugs against Alzheimer's, cancers and diabetes as well as two for application of stem cell technology in medical treatment.
