Suzhou Planning Bureau recently unveiled the progress of a number of urban construction projects, several of which are road infrastructure projects in SIP.

Among the projects are three under construction, including the north extension of Xingtang Street, which is expected to help cut down the travel time between Qingjianhu and Hudong sub-district to five minutes after it comes into service in June 2019, and two sightseeing overpasses at Xinggang Street, which, boasting a specially-shaped steel structure, will be put into use soon.

The other projects are under planning, including rail transit lines and tunnels, designed to alleviate the traffic pressure in the zones with high traffic flow.
