Suzhou International Science Park (SISPARK) recently organized two events aimed at helping the local publicity staff enhance their proficiency in media content creation.

Wang Ye, a senior journalist, editor and new media operator, gave a lecture to more than 60 local publicity staff members on Dec 15. Using several real cases, Wang gave a detailed account of the misunderstandings of new media content creation, significance of new media, concept of convergence media and media writing skills, which greatly inspired the participants.

An event of similar kind took place on Dec 6, when Zong Wenwen, director of the Mobile Internet Department at Suzhou Daily Press Group Omnimedia Center, gave a lecture on news writing to a number of enterprise information staff. Zong made a comparison of writing skills in regard to traditional and new media as well as answered the participants' inquiries.
