Block71 Suzhou set up in SIP

Block71 Suzhou, a cooperative project of NUS Enterprise, NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute and Ascendas-Singbridge Group, was set up in SIP on Nov 23 and is expected to come into service in the first quarter of 2018.

Block71 is Singapore's iconic startup hub initiated by NUS Enterprise, in an effort to promote innovation and growth of business startups. It has established branches in San Francisco (the United States) and Jakarta (Indonesia).

Block71 Suzhou will rely on its initiators' resources and good practices to help startups explore new markets home and abroad, enhance exchange of technologies and talents as well as acquire research, education and incubation resources efficiently. It aims to become an ecosystem that boasts excellent office facilities, wonderful environment and integrated global resources.

Block71 Suzhou has two bases, respectively at NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute and Ascendas Innovation Park. The former focuses on technology innovation and commercialization in fields like AI, bio-medicine, Cloud computing and smart equipment. The latter dedicates itself to maintaining the vitality of the ecosystem based on its innovation resources.
