The Ministry of Commerce has lately declared 295 "Major Cultural Exporters of China". On the list are 4 SIP-based enterprises, including Snail Digital Technology, ORI Animation, Gamers' Times and Game Friend, together with other 20 Jiangsu enterprises.

In recent years, SIP has been encouraging and buttressing cultural export through policies and specialized funds. It also encourages related enterprises and organizations to participate in various international cultural exchanges such as exhibitions and forums to seek opportunities for cultural export. Thanks to the efforts, the local cultural exporters totally generated an operating income of RMB 920 million in the first half of 2017.

According to its next-step plan, SIP will give full play to its opening-up initiatives to transform the cultural export mode from selling product to showing presence, with emphasis on creative, design and other emerging cultural sectors. In addition, it will foster the development of cultural intermediaries targeting overseas market as well as the formation of a global cultural marketing network for enhancing cultural exchange with other countries and regions.
