Made in China 1000 Summit 2017 (MIC 1000 2017) themed on "Smart Development & Sharing" kicked off in Suzhou on Nov 21, showcasing the latest achievements made by Chinese enterprises in smart manufacturing, sharing the experience provided by leading manufacturers as well as sparking off discussions about future trends and other related issues.

A number of government officials as well as representatives of educational institutions, domestic and overseas enterprises, overseas returnees and business startups were present and provided their opinions on a wide range of topics, such as how to improve enterprises' smart manufacturing capacity and how to safeguard network security.

In addition to the traditional components like guests' speeches and roundtables, this year's event will incorporate specialized interaction activities, business startup roadshows and smart exhibitions to brainstorm ideas on the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing sector.

Moreover, China Industry 4.0 Association will release its 2017 China Industry 4.0 Progress Report and "Smart Future" industrial experience sharing platform at the event.
