Jointly sponsored by Jiangsu Nanotech Innovation Center and Xi'an Jiaotong University Suzhou Academy, the 2017 International Forum on Environmental and Health Nanotech took place in SIP on Nov 1 and 2. Renowned experts from domestic and overseas universities, colleges, research institutions, enterprises and public institutions were present to discuss hot issues and policies related to nanotech development and application.

Following the opening ceremony, Prof. Laurent Charlet from Université Grenoble-Alpes (France), Prof. Steve Conlan from the School of Medicine of Swansea University (UK) and Prof. Lian Kun, associate dean of Xi'an Jiaotong University Suzhou Nano Science and Engineering Technology Academy, made reports on application of nanotech and nano materials in environmental protection and health care.

Four sub-forums and a roundtable followed, offering the participants a chance to learn about the latest nanotechnologies as well as seek opportunities for cooperation in nanotech development and application.
