The pure-electric city delivery vehicle, independently developed by Suzhou Auto Technology Co Ltd, attracted much attention at the 17th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai) opened on April 19.
At Auto Shanghai, the company exhibited five vehicles of different cargo capacities, three of which made their first appreance.
The technology developed by the company for the use of making all-aluminum car body was very eye-catching at Auto Shanghai. Such vehicle body weighs not more than 126 kilograms, 35% lighter than that made of automobile steel. As the technology can help improve the pure-electric vehicle's endurance performance and reduce the number of batteries, the full-loaded pure-electric city delivery vehicle, on a charge, can drive as far as 200 kilometers.
The advantages of the new vehicles developed by the company include large cargo space, a mere two-minute cost in automatic switching of batteries, in-vehicle artificial intelligence platform for interconnection between person, vehicle and cargo.
