Hakim, an animation series produced by SIP-based Ori Animation Co Ltd and Saudi Arabian State TV, had its premiere in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia at 8:00pm, Feb 22.

The two sides signed a contract in Beijing in May 2014 to produce Hakim, the first Sino-Saudi Arabian cooperative animation series as well as the first animation series of Saudi Arabia and the dubbing into Arabic was completed in July 2016.

The 26-episode Hakim, 26 minutes in each episode, integrates Chinese cultures of food and martial art with rich Arab features, and tells interesting stories about Kong Xiaoxi, a Chinese boy from a family of chefs, and a Saudi Arabian boy Hakim.
