Tongcheng Tourim signed Air Ticket Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Kunming Airlines Co., Ltd. in Suzhou on Jan 13.

It is learnt that under this strategic cooperation agreement, Tongcheng Tourism and Kunming Airlines will develop wide and in-depth cooperation on operation of Wechat public account, system development and Wechat-based air ticket sales and personnel training, etc.

According to Xu Jianzhong, vice president of Tongcheng Tourism and CEO of air ticket department, the cooperation between the two parties is a joint effort to build a competitive air ticket market through complementation of resources. It also aims to provide better, more diversified and tailor-made services for the users based on the experience and natural advantages of the new media.

Meanwhile, Tongcheng Tourism wishes to explore the new mode of mobile Internet marketing and improve clients’ experience by carrying out in-depth cooperation in such areas as big data analysis and application, precise member marketing and diversified product development.
