To find a job is a headache for many students graduating next summer. The problem, however, is mainly due to the mismatching between the employers and the students.

The local chapter of the first national "Internet+ University Student Career Festival" was launched in SIP Monday. Guided by China Internet+ Association of University-Enterprise Cooperation (CIAUEC), this festival is designed to set up a communication channel between university students and enterprises.

In the following month, the job-hunting students will be able to access various employers at the festival.

Traditional job fairs usually cannot reap what is expected owing to many limitations. In contrast, the Internet+ festival provides a platform for direct communication between university students and employers through tailor-made and differentiated services.

The Suzhou chapter will hold a series of events like online marketing competition, meeting with Fortune 500 companies, special job fairs for large enterprises, etc.

CIAUEC released A Letter of Appeal at the launching ceremony. In the letter CIAUEC proposes efforts to strengthen companies' sense of social responsibility, build an interconnected and resource-sharing network platform between universities and enterprises and provide all-round services to help students hunt for jobs or start up businesses.

The first batch of CIAUEC enterprises and universities were also announced at the ceremony.

Xu Jinsheng, secretary general of CIAUEC and chairman of Suzhou Tiangong Information Technology Co., Ltd., said at the launching ceremony, "Make the best of the mobile internet career service products of cloud calculation and big data to satisfy university students' individualized demands for job hunting."

It is reported that 500,000 university students from over 300 universities and more than 8,000 enterprises across the country have joined in this year's career festival.
