Summit forum held in SIP

China (Suzhou) Trade Facilitation and Enterprise Credit Management Summit Forum 2016 was unveiled in SIP Tuesday afternoon. The forum was sponsored by SIP Administrative Committee, China Customs Press, SIP International Trade Zone Administrative Committee and organized by SIP Customs Declaration Co., Ltd.

Under the theme of "trade facilitation and enterprise credit management", the forum attracted over 200 government officials, experts, representatives from Fortune 500 companies and consulting businesses in and out of Jiangsu province.

Zhang Heng, deputy director of Nanjing Customs, said in his speech that in recent years China customs has been innovating supervision service and sparing no effort to construct the customs supervision system with credit as its core in a bid to improve trade facilitation level and create a healthier and sounder economic and trade environment.

Huang Haitao, deputy director of SIP Administrative Committee, said that improvement of trade facilitation and enterprise credit management is beneficial to an overall better foreign trade environment.

He added that SIP will continue to actively push forward the reform of trade facilitation and join hands with enterprises to keep innovating and optimizing services so as to make contributions to global economic and trade cooperation and development. 

The forum carried out heated discussions over two topics: the interpretation of trade facilitation policy and the construction of enterprise credit management system. Among others, it also held the awarding ceremony for the winners of "Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Credit Management Class AA Enterprise (Suzhou)".

The forum is a platform for communication and interaction between government and enterprises and is conducive to the upgrading of  trade facilitation reform and enterprise credit building and the boosting of regional trade cooperation and development.
