On April 26, or World Intellectual Property Day, Suzhou Industrial Park Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Professionals Development Forum was held at National Medium, Small and Micro-sized Enterprises' IPR Training (Suzhou) Base.

National Medium, Small and Micro-sized Enterprises' IPR Training (Suzhou) Base was founded in SIP in April 2015 as the third one of its kind in the country and the only one in Jiangsu Province. Under the principle of "resources integration and innovative development", the base aims to construct a complete service chain for fostering IPR professionals.

At the forum, Patent Search and Consultation Center of State Intellectual Property Office signed a cooperation agreement with SIP to set up (Suzhou) workstation of the center. The workstation will introduce relevant resources of the center to SIP, and make the best use of its resources and talents to help SIP enterprises solve their difficulties in patent research, consultation, warning, analysis and nullity encountered in business operation and production. Besides, SIP will take this opportunity to bring in and foster a batch of domestic and international high-end IPR service agencies, so as to create a comprehensive, high-grade and professional IPR service system in line with international practice.
