On the afternoon of August 22, over twenty people hit the road for a special tour in Suzhou Industrial Park for a close look of the "cloud" on the ground, the cutting-edge cloud computing sector.

SIP IT Exhibition Center was their first stop and the guide walked them through such convenient services as making inquiries on bus information, tracing the origin of the pork you just buy from market, and making hospital appointment through mobile application. The web lab of China Mobile Suzhou presents the "smart life" based on mobile technology. Some of its new products integrate the latest cloud technology and provide 3G, 4G, and wireless household services.

At Smartac retail experience center, a seemingly ordinary mirror is actually a smart device capable of showing how you look like in new outfits. As for the visitors, cloud computing was no longer an abstract term but the things they could see and touch. More importantly, they knew it would eventually change people's lives.

Suzhou initiated "Network Culture Season" in July and, as an important innovation base in the city, Suzhou International Science Park has organized product releases and invited people to tour local companies so that they would understand, experience, and get in touch with "cloud".
