SIPCDC warns schools to keep alertness against COVID-19 during holiday

SIP Center for Disease Control and Prevention (SIPCDC) recently warned SIP-based schools that have reopened to part or all of their students to keep high alertness against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) during the upcoming May Day holiday from May 1 to 5, despite of the fact the epidemic is now under control nationwide.
SIPCDC suggests that, during the holiday, the schools’ faculty members and students and the students’ parents should avoid long-distance travels, crowds and contacts with people from areas hit seriously by the epidemic, keep safe distance from others, and wear face masks when close contacts are necessary.
Additionally, SIPCDC advised the schools to conduct immediate health screening and take preventive measures in case that any of their faculty members and students develops a fever or respiratory symptoms.
