Weiting Sub-district Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation on Oct 29 opened its guidance office in Qingcheng Garden Community. It is reported that professional counselors will be on duty at the office every Friday afternoon to assist local residents in their mental health maintenance, parenting, marriage problems and other concerns. 

 

The committee hopes the guidance office can help residents in the community better handle stress and relate to others.

An art show was held at SIP Kuatang Experimental Primary School on the same day to mark the opening of the office. It included a list of psychodramas given by a number of children and their parents to help parents gain insights into youngsters’ behaviors and psychological needs and learn effective skills for better communication with their kids.
