Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, and his contingent conducted a tour to a number of primary and middle schools in SIP on Sept 4, several days before the Chinese Teachers’ Day on Sept 10. In the process, the officials acquired a better understanding of the schools’ development and extended festival greetings to the teachers. Wu encouraged the schools to continuously improve their offerings to local students.

 

In the event, the officials also visited SIP Teacher Development Center where they learnt lots of details about the center’s programs aimed at increasing application of digital and smart technologies in education. Wu encouraged the center to continue its efforts to innovate on educational concepts and approaches to give teachers better support in their teaching practices.
