The SIP-based Suzhou High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University is catching more and more public attention for its fruitful science and technology education. In a recent example, three of the school’s students scooped three awards with their “iCrab” (a robotic device used to catch sea cucumbers) at the 34th China Adolescents Science and Technology Contest concluded in Macao on July 25.

 

The school boasts well-designed curricula and best-in-class experimental instruments for physics, chemistry biology education. Besides, it is in partnership with Cold Spring Harbor Asia DNA Learning Center in SIP to offer its high school students elective biology courses at its campus.

On the other hand, the school offers tutorials to students partaking in various competitions and academic activities, and is applying with local government for setting up a physics innovation center in the hope of providing its teachers and students with new channels to explore deeply in related fields.
