A group of juveniles, members of a summer camp organized by SIP Dongshahu Community Working Committee, on July 24 visited two factories in SIP and gained a better understanding of the factories’ operations and products. 

 

The little campers first visited the factory of SJEC, an elevator and escalator manufacturer. Guided by a staff member at the factory, they took a close look at the automatic production and assembly lines, and acquired a good knowledge of structures of elevators and escalators and the do’s and don’ts of elevator/escalator safety.

 

The next station is the factory of Yili, a Chinese dairy product supplier. In the process, the campers watched how yogurt was made and viewed the displays about Yili’s products.
