SKEMA Business School (Suzhou) in SIP’s Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation Zone, a branch of SKEMA (School of Knowledge Economy and Management) Business School, a French-headquartered private establishment of higher education and research, has been embracing the international strategy to prepare its students for success in global knowledge economy.

The school, receiving about 800 international students each year, offers a large portfolio of programs to train leaders and managers who are mobile and adaptable, able to contribute to the knowledge economy and generate sustainable performance respecting the values and challenges of society, the environment and the economy.
On the other hand, the school offers opportunities for student exchange among SKEMA campuses in different countries and regions, and encourages its students to devote themselves to innovation and entrepreneurship. It organizes various events like Chinese language competitions, calligraphy lectures and petanque matches to help SKEMA students worldwide know better about each other’s cultures, and hosts job fairs and business café events for them to seek job opportunities overseas or promote their startup projects.

Talking about the next-step plan, Matthieu Dumont, formerly a student at SKEMA Business School (Suzhou) and now dean of the school, said they are endeavoring to develop new programs that can help enhance its students’ proficiency in emerging industries.
