A total of 38 publicity and cyberspace management staff from SIP attended a training program at Renmin University of China, Beijing from June 23 to 28 when they acquired better work abilities and skills.

 

The program included theory lessons given by seven professors from the schools of journalism and communication at RUC and Beijing Normal University, and also survey tours to Chinese tech giant Tencent’s headquarters in Beijing and the Convergence Media Center at People’s Daily, the country’s biggest newspaper group. They also had the chance to practice the skills they learned in a simulated news briefing.
