Arlindo Silva, associate professor at Singapore University of Technology and Design, and several other educational experts from Singapore, gave a series of lectures at iSmart Home, SIP Youth & Children Center from Feb 27 to Mar 1, offering the participating teachers from local high schools very helpful knacks for innovative teaching plan design.

The event is part of the International Teacher Training Program jointly launched last June by SIP Administrative Committee and non-profit Singaporean organization Temasek Foundation International for the purpose of helping primary and middle school teachers in SIP enhance their teaching abilities.

In his lecture, Arlindo encouraged the teachers to diversify their teaching plans based on not only their teaching purposes but also the needs of the students and their parents.

It is learnt that participants with excellent performance in the training session will later gain the chance for advanced study in Singapore.
