Hubin Community Dream Center, Suzhou's first after-school juvenile quality education center, was inaugurated at Hubin Community, SIP's Weiting Sub-district, on Feb 23.

The center, developed with donation from Eaton (China), the Shanghai branch of American power management company Eaton Corporation, is run by Suzhou Happy to Help Charity Cause Development and Evaluation Center under the authorization of local authorities. It offers a wide range of courses during weekends and summer vacations with the purpose of helping local teenagers seek a positive and all-around social, emotional, mental, physical and cognitive development.

A total of 36 newly recruited volunteers will attend a two-day training program this weekend to gain a better understanding of the center's courses and learn skills for classroom management. The first class is set to start on Mar 9.
