Robert Lacombe, cultural counselor at the Embassy of France in China, Fabien Chareix, consul of education at Consulate General of France in Shanghai, and their contingent visited Renmin University of China (RUC) Suzhou Campus on Nov 12. During their stay, they gained a better knowledge of RUC Suzhou Campus' efforts and plans for educational exchange and cooperation with French partners.

The visitors first attended a meeting with RUC Suzhou Campus' executives and faculty representatives from its China-France School (CFS) and International School. In the process, Li Jiugao, dean of CFS, gave the guests a specific introduction to the school and revealed their plans to expand student recruitment and reinforce research efforts in collaboration with French partners. Robert gave high praise to the school's operation strategies and promised to offer more help in the future.

Following that, the visitors had a tour around CFS, talking with some students about their career planning and opinions on the school's programs, listening to the teachers' introduction to their teaching modes and characteristic courses, and offering their advice on the school's future operation.
