Nanjing Normal University, a school in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province, joined hands with Suzhou High School Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University from Nov 6 to 8 in carrying out a biology teacher training program. A total of 66 biology teachers and education researchers from around the country participated.

The program, consisting of public classes, experiments and meeting with renowned teachers, is reported to be part of the National Teacher Training Program launched nationwide by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance of China in 2010 for the purpose of helping primary and middle school teachers acquire better teaching skills.

The program was well received by the participants.

"The visit to CSH Asia DNA Learning Center deeply impressed the participants. They did several experiments that they had never have chances to do in their schools due to limited conditions and devices. That's very helpful," said Shen Yanjing who was in charge of the program.

"I appreciate the opportunities to exchange with other participants. It is an effective way to gain experience," said Wang Jian from Tianjin.
