A delegation consisting of researchers and school principals from Tianjin, a North China municipality directly under the central government, visited Xinghai Primary School in SIP on Oct 24 for a survey on the school's innovative teaching methods that have proved to be very effective in helping students improve their learning outcomes.

Accompanied by several of the school's executives, the delegation members first toured around some of the school's facilities such as the history museum, activity center, library and sinology hall, and attended a basketball lesson and a roller skating lesson as observers. In the process, they gained a better knowledge of the school's characteristic courses, teaching modes and activities devised to help students lay a solid foundation for their future development and give full play to their talents in certain fields.

At the following exchange meeting, the school's representatives gave the visitors a systematic introduction to the school's management philosophies, educational programs and student evaluation system, and exchanged opinions with them.
