Ms. Aryn, an artificial intelligence (AI) program developed by Suzhou Qingrui Education Technology Co Ltd, is winning more and more popularity among youngsters across the country for her excellent performance in helping them improve their oral English.

The company has been engaged in application of AI technologies in Education since its founding in SIP in 2012, and is especially adept at developing automatic speech recognition technologies.

Ms. Aryn "works" in a virtual school to read for the users, converse with them and answer their questions in English. What's more important, she can correct mispronunciations discovered during the interaction.

Zhu Qifeng, the company founder and an expert under the National Thousand Talents Program, said both students and teachers can join in the virtual school using various terminals such as computers, tablet PCs and smartphones. He also revealed that the technology has been rolled out to 13,000 schools in more than 300 cities in the country.
