The 14th "For the Future" Teachers' Workshop recently took place at CSH Asia DNA Learning Center, SIP. A group of science and biology teachers from several schools in Suzhou did a set of experiments with experts' help and instructions.

The event was part of a one-year teacher training program jointly initiated last year by Suzhou Education Association for International Exchange and CSH Asia DNA Learning Center. With a workshop every two weeks, the program is designed to help local science and biology teachers enhance their teaching ability. A total of 26 teachers gained the entry to it after strict selection.

The curriculum under the program blends theory study with practices and therefore enables the teachers to deepen their understanding of relevant theories and gain experience for their teaching.

"Not all the experiments can be done in schools due to limited conditions and devices. The experiments included in the program offer us good opportunities to verify various hypotheses so that we can explain them clearly to the students," a trainee named Cai Yan said.
