SIP's Meisong Community has organized a variety of events since the beginning of this month, in a move to lend the children a hand in their growth.

In a class on English language, the volunteer teacher told the children a story based on a picture book in a vivid and interesting way, which aroused the children's zest in learning English and inspired their imagination.

A class on hard-tipped pen writing is going on in the community to help the children develop good handwriting habits and enhance their ability for maintaining concentration.

Apart from that, Gao Shan, a volunteer teacher the local children adore, has started to host a new series of reading sessions on ancient Greek mythology, trying to pique the children's interest in reading and help them improve their reading, listening, expression and thinking abilities.
