SIP Xinghai Primary School held a training session on Feb 25, when an official from SIP Teacher Development Centre (SIP-TDC) gave a talk on application of smart technologies in education to the school's faculty members.

In his talk, the SIP-TDC official introduced their research on big-data-based student performance evaluation and explained in detail measures of using smart and information technologies to achieve desirable teaching results. He encouraged the teachers to make their lessons more interesting and interactive relying on smart platforms.

As a model school in applying smart technologies, Xinghai has been engaged in promoting an "E+" system that is designed to enhance the interaction between the teachers and students. Apart from that, the school is trying to introduce more smart systems to create a better learning environment for its students.
