Citizens learn more about international education at exhibition

The 2nd Suzhou International Education Exhibition opened at Suzhou Jinji Lake International Convention Centre on Nov 26, offering a nugget of information about overseas schools and international education programs to the local citizens.

Zhou Chenggang, CEO of New Oriental, the largest provider of private educational services in China, gave a keynote speech titled Revelations on Global Schools. He expounded on the concept of diversified education and advised the parents to choose overseas schools for their children based on multiple factors like their interest, development potential and dispositions instead of school’s high-ranking only. He also shared many photos of overseas universities he had taken over the past five years in an attempt to prove that each school has its unique appeal.

In addition, more than 40 international schools and overseas study agencies participated in the event, giving a detailed introduction to their programs and answered the parents’ inquiries.

At the booth of SIP Foreign Language School, student volunteers shared their own experience in attending the school’s programs and their life in the school with many parents, hoping it will be helpful for them to choose schools and programs for their children.
