The 9th Gao Shiqi Creative Competition themed "Explore Science and Light up Dreams" was held at Dushu Lake Library on June 10, in a bid to popularize science. The SIP Teenagers'Science and Technology Carnival kicked off concurrently, offering a variety of science and technology shows and VR (virtual reality) experience activities.
The competition received 294 "4D" painting books created by 1,590 students from 30 primary and middle schools in Suzhou. After strict expert review, 59 works were declared winners of Excellence Awards. Nine schools won Excellent Organization Awards, while nine teachers won Excellent Supervision Awards.
Launched in 2008, the Gao Shiqi Creative Competition has been held for 10 consecutive years, with the participation of 17,600 students from over 490 schools. A total of 685 awards have been presented to individuals and organizations.
