Eleven musicians from Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZSO) presented a refreshing music class to the students at SIP Jinji Lake School on March 31.

During the one-hour class, the musicians briefed the students on the voice parts and musical instruments of a symphony orchestra in a lighthearted atmosphere, and played the first movement of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (for string quartet) by Mozart, Carmen suite (for woodwind quintet) by Georges Bizet, etc, which is beneficial to the improvement of students' aesthetic taste and artistic accomplishments.

The activity is part of the "music class" program SZSO offers to students in collaboration with Suzhou and SIP education bureaus. It aims to enable the young generation to have a feel of high-brow music with musicians' exposition and performance.
