A 618-sqm children's roller skating training base, composed of two rinks, opens at SIP Dushu Lake Neighborhood Center on March 19. It is the first of its kind and one of the few indoor rinks in Suzhou.

Children above 3 can receive training here from coaches dispatched by Suzhou Roller Skating Association, including national roller skating champions and former members of national roller skating team.

The learning starts from the basic movements and postures such as standing, walking, slipping and stopping to the rudimentary skills such as sprinting and bend acceleration. After that, the children can take classes on rink hockey, skating dance, etc.
