A serial education activity under the theme of "learn history and make a vow to foster virtuous character and do good deeds" was launched on March 1 for SIP minors to enhance their sense of social responsibility, spirit of innovation and practical ability.

The activities sponsored by SIP Working Committee for Care of Younger Generations include "follow Lei Feng's example" (Lei Feng is a selfless PLA man who did good deeds all his life and died at the age of 22 in 1962), "hold a memorial ceremony for martyrs", "give a salute to workers on ordinary posts", "warm the mother's heart", "pay tribute to the Party", "commemorate the 90th anniversary of the founding of PLA", etc.
