Since the First Chinese European University Students Entrepreneurship Practical Training Camp Competition was officially kicked off in Aug, 2016, the event has involved over 100 university students from China and Europe and received 50-plus project proposals. After a three-month screening, 20 projects progressed to the final.

Chinese European University Students Entrepreneurship Practical Training Camp 2016 wound up on SKEMA Suzhou Campus in Suzhou Dushu Lake Science, Education and Innovation District on Nov 15.

During the final, the three competition venues in Suzhou, Paris and Nice were connected together by instant communication, the contestants and the judges did question and answer, and the 20 selected projects made presentations on the spot.

In the five-minute presentation and one-minute interaction with the supervisor, the finalists showed the essence of their projects and their personal charm.

Meanwhile, they were given professional guidance by the jury made up of Dr. Li Tianlun, Director of ACECE, and other four mentors who have all been engaged in innovation, entrepreneurship, investment and financing for many years.

Eight projects stood out from the rest and won the awards after the professional scoring and voting process.

Organizations and departments concerned will reportedly continue to do matchmaking for the projects and incubation services, and carry out various preferential policies. The winning projects will have the chance to directly start up by Dushu Lake in Suzhou.

Sponsored by the Administrative Committee for Suzhou Dushu Lake Science, Education and Innovation District and supported by Campus France Chine, the Chinese European University Students Entrepreneurship Practical Training Camp 2016 was jointly organized by Suzhou Dushu Lake Entrepreneurial University, ACECE and UNIVFR.

Having built an exchange platform for the Chinese and European university students, this event, aside from discovering excellent entrepreneurship programs, lays more emphasis on the guidance and training of entrepreneurs with a view to improving them and their projects.
