Foreign Students' First Class in Suzhou

As the new term begins, 180 students from 12 countries step into the new stage of their life in SKEMA Business School Suzhou Campus. Their first lesson in the new term in Suzhou was to learn about the local culture.


The foreign students are learning Tai-chi

The foreign students learned Tai-chi, Chinese calligraphy, and other events to gain understanding of the local culture and get acquainted with their classmates during the activities. As the hosts, the Chinese students helped them to get along well with their new life in Suzhou quickly. And the students also visited the downtown Suzhou, Lingering Garden, Suzhou Embroidery Gallery, and Shantang Street, which deeply impressed them. According to a French student, the special arrangement of the first week made her feel strongly the attraction of Chinese culture and Suzhou. She already had the plan to see the famous scenic areas, including Jinji Lake, Dushu Lake and Taihu Lake, to experience the unique culture and scenery of the region in the south of the Yangtze River.
