The second Chinese University Students' Pastel Painting Works Exhibition, jointly held by Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association and the organizing committee of the exhibition, opened on July 24 and is to last till August 16 at Ming Gallery of Art in Phase-4 of Ligongdi, displaying 100 pastel painting works by fine art majors from around the country.

"Through these works, we can gain an insight into the youth's inner world, their discoveries of the world, as well as their attitudes towards the society," said Hang Mingshi, a famous pastel painter. "The activity is also a means of promoting the art of pastel painting and producing more young promising Chinese pastel painters."
