50 Masterminds Compete in "Beauty of Programming" in SIP

After 24-hour closed-door contest, the constantans of the final of "Beauty of Programming" showed their works to the media on May 26.

Organized by Microsoft and co-organized by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and inaugurated in 2012, the "Beauty of Programming" is a top-level programming contest geared to the students. It is the first time for Suzhou Industrial Park to host its final, with the theme of artificial intelligence. As early as the preliminary contest, as many as 22,653 university students from 150 universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University competed for the rankings. Finally, the top 50 winners from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and India made it to the final in SIP. These 50 winners also included two students from Soochow University.

 

The "Beauty of Programming" has been committed to providing the young developers with international first-class development & exchange opportunities to encourage them to tap into their full potentials to deal with practical problems through innovative methods, according to Wang Yongdong, Director of Search Technology Center Asia.
