SIP to Promote Education Work in 2015

On the afternoon of February 7, Suzhou Industrial Park authorities called a meeting to promote education work in 2015, with the attendance of the staff of education authority, leaders in charge of education work from sub-districts and community working committees, as well as chiefs of SIP Teacher Development Center, SIP Youth & Children Center, vocational colleges, primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, schools for foreign children, and schools for special children.

At the meeting, the authorities assigned new tasks for the year 2015 under the general slogan of "the education-brand building year". Within the year, SIP would implement development strategies to prioritize education, follow the law of education, manage education in accordance with law, continue to optimize education resources allocation, improve education governance capabilities, develop distinctive education brands, and pick up speed to be a pioneer of education modernization & internationalization in the province and the country. 

Yang Zhiping, Director of SIP Administrative Committee, fully affirmed the achievements in SIP education, and asked the education authority to take the initiative to accelerate reform and innovation of education by firmly grasping the opportunities and actively coping with the challenges. At the same time, Yang also required the education authority to ensure that each child had equal access to education, to focus on reform in school-running system, administration system and evaluation system to push forward the healthy development of education, to enhance quality-oriented education to train the students to be the talents of SIP features and patriotism and familiar with international rules, and to reinforce the foundation of education development, leadership, team training and work style construction to continuously guarantee education standard.
