University of Dayton China Institute (Suzhou) Opens American Cultural Center

University of Dayton China Institute (Suzhou) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its American Cultural Center on the afternoon of December 2. Ambassador Max Baucus of the United States to China, Deputy Director Xia Fang of Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee, President Daniel Curran of University of Dayton, as well as representatives of higher education institutions, Eli Lilly, Stanley Black & Decker, and other global manufacturers attended the opening ceremony.

Since its founding in August 2012, University of Dayton China Institute (Suzhou) has entered partnership with many multinational groups, Chinese companies, and colleges, and has grown into a base for innovation-based technological industrialization and high-end professional training.

The American Cultural Center makes University of Dayton China Institute (Suzhou) a base of China-US cultural exchanges, opens a new window for local people to get to know America, and serves as a bridge promoting friendship and cooperation.
