Two CG Masters Give Lectures at NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute

Two CG masters, Sean Lewkiw and Kim Davidson, gave lectures on the afternoon of November 27 at National University of Singapore (Suzhou) Research Institute. Lewkiw has been active in CG industry for fifteen years and his name has been on the credit lists of such blockbusters as Lord of the Rings and The Maze Runner. Davidson is the co-founder, CEO and President of Side Effects Software (Houdini). He's been in the industry of computer graphics for two decades. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded him for producing and supervising over 200 movies and for making outstanding contributions to CG industry in North America.

The audience included local CG experts and professionals as well as students from Singapore Pioneer Junior College. The lecturers introduced the latest trend of CG industry, shared their work experience, and encouraged the participants to be creative and to pursue dreams. Two CG masters also got first-hand information about the international innovation platform at NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute and explored the possibility of setting up a branch in the city to develop Asia-Pacific market.
