On the morning of October 18, AMD Technologies (China) unveiled the plaque of a lecture program at Suzhou Industrial Park Youth and Children Center. This is also the first of its kind in the city sponsored by a foreign company.

The program aims to "improve the students' abilities to learn, to practice, to innovate, and to fit in" by inviting experts to give lectures on moralities, culture, art, science, and mental health. This is also an effort to connect school, family, and community, and to create a platform for local youth to learn and practice core socialist values.

This is our responsibility as a corporate citizen, said Zeng Zhaokong, VP of global operation at AMD Technologies (China). "We want something to educate the juniors so that they'll know a company grows along with the society and hope that they'll learn to give it back to their community after they grow up and start to work."
