On the afternoon of October 12, a special martial art performance was given at Ligongdi phase-4 in Suzhou Industrial Park. The students from Weiting Experimental Primary School, Xinghai Primary School, and Chefang Experimental Primary School in SIP, as well as Chefang Primary School in Wuzhong District performed Tai Chi (taiji), long-style boxing (changquan), and karate. Other performances during 2014 Suzhou Children & Teens Traditional Culture and Arts Festival include music played on stringed and woodwind instruments, Kunqu & Pingtan, and guqin, a seven-stringed ancient zither.
