Training program on FTZ wraps up

Ren Xinjian, founder of Hualue Think-Tank, a Shanghai-based organization that provides comprehensive advisory services to governments, development districts and enterprises, gave a talk on free trade zones (FTZ) at Modern Building, SIP on Nov 15. The event was the last of four training sessions scheduled from September to November to help local authorities and enterprises gain a better understanding of the operations of China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou Area, a new FTZ in SIP.
 
Ren, who received his doctor’s degree in management from Fudan University, one of China’s most prestigious universities in Shanghai, has taken part in over 200 research projects concerning FTZs. In the event, he expounded on the tasks of the country’s pilot FTZs and shared his views on industrial layout and institutional innovation in FTZs and FTZ management modes. He also cited the example of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone to help the audiences better understand that.
 
 
It is learnt that the training sessions over the past two months have offered over 450 participants guidance for their future work concerning the new FTZ in SIP, and strengthened their determination to do their bit in supporting its development.
