SIP Administrative Committee director Ding Lixin and his contingent visited China (Suzhou) Intellectual Property Protection Center and Suzhou 2.5 Industry Park on Nov 14 for a survey on the development of the two projects.
At China (Suzhou) Intellectual Property Protection Center, Ding and his fellows listened to the introduction to the center’s development, services and operations, and promised to offer it more policy and financial support in the future so that it can play a better role in intellectual property right protection. Ding suggested the center launch new services targeting businesses at the new free trade zone established in SIP in September.

At Suzhou 2.5 Industry Park, a cluster of emerging industries, the officials first visited the fintech security company Pay Egis where they gained a better understanding of the company’s products and services and encouraged it to expand its business coverage for a stronger development. They then had a meeting with the representatives of Sungent Group, the developer of Suzhou 2.5 Industry Park, and discussed with them details about the future planning for the project. Ding also offered his advice on infrastructure construction and business service upgrading in the area.
