SIP authorities held a meeting on Sept 25 to make deployment for better maintenance of their official websites and new media accounts that serve as important channels for interaction between the local administrative offices and the residents. Leading officials from related departments were present.

 

At the event, a series of new requirements for official website and new media account management were clarified, including those aimed at ensuring normal operation of the websites and new media accounts and efficient information updating during the upcoming National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7. The publicity and technical departments are required to adopt clear accountability mechanisms to ensure cyber security and spread positivity to the public.
