SIP authorities unveiled the nameplates for its New Era Civilization Practice Center and Convergence Media Center at Modern Building on Sept 23, marking the start of the construction of the two projects.

 

It is learnt that SIP authorities launched preparations for the two projects early this year in a move to promote the progress of local social civilization. The centers are expected to come into operation at the end of the year.

 

The New Era Civilization Practice Center will provide an assortment of volunteer services for publicity, public education, cultural activities, science popularization and public health to meet the residents’ needs for a better life.

 

The Convergence Media Center will focus on news gathering, editing and release using a variety of media to keep the public abreast of the latest information about SIP. 

 

At the event, five volunteer teams received their team flags.
