The authorities of SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone (SIP-HMITZ) convened a meeting on Aug 9, urging related departments to take preventive measures against the powerful Typhoon Lekima which was inching toward East China.

 

The meeting gave the latest information about Lekima, and the safety supervision, construction and other departments concerned were required to enhance pitfall screening and employ a 24-hour duty system to ensure efficient information delivery and response to emergencies to guarantee the safety of local residents’ life and properties.
